Lone Worker provides an employer with a method of addressing health and safety considerations where members of staff may have to work alone without other staff members present.
A radio with Lone Worker feature turned on will generate a local alert tone on the user’s radio at pre-programmed intervals if the radio has not been used to make a call. This local alert can be canceled by the radio user to indicate that they are safe and well.
If the user fails to cancel the alert tone within a preset time, an emergency alarm call will be activated to indicate the user may have a problem.
